non-profit organization that rescues rabbits and educates
the public on rabbit care and behaviour. You can support
HRSS in various ways.

Adopt a rabbit |
Over 1000 rabbits are abandoned
in Singapore every year. So please consider adopting
a rabbit instead of buying one from a breeder
or a pet store. When you adopt a rabbit from HRSS,
you are actually helping two bunnies - the one
you take home, and the one that takes the newly
opened space at the shelter. If you are interested

Volunteer with
us |
HRSS volunteers educate people about
the responsibilities involved in owning a pet rabbit.
You can also help in rescuing abandoned rabbits
and you can provide a foster home while they await
adoption. Not only will you be helping rabbits,
we guarantee that you will have a fun time and establish
friendships that last a lifetime. |

Be
a Foster Parent |
HRSS runs a structured fostering programme
to rescue and re-home abandoned rabbits. HRSS-rescued
rabbits are kept at the homes of our volunteers
- called Foster Parents - until they are adopted.
In order to save lives of more rabbits, we are urgently
seeking volunteers to join the Foster Parents team.

Join as a
Friend of HRSS |
For a fixed annual membership fee
of S$25 you can join the Friends
of HRSS programme. Not only will you be helping
rabbits, you will also receive a unique member
identification card, subscription to the quarterly
HRSS newsletter, discounts
on rabbit food and accessories at participating
pet shops, and invitations to HRSS gatherings
and events. |

Make a
donation |
Without funding and sponsorship,
our avenues for education - such as this website,
our schools program, and awareness posters - would
be eliminated. Every rescued rabbit is spayed
or neutered, receives individual care including
toys, medical care, healthy food and treats, and
lots of love. Because HRSS receives no government
support, nor do we accept advertising dollars,
we count on your generosity to keep our programs
alive. We now accept online credit card donations
through Paypal.

You can now purchase our exclusive
range of bookmarks, greeting cards, postcards
and other merchandise online. You don't have to
wait till the next HRSS public event or gathering!

Tell everyone about
HRSS |
Tell everyone about us - especially people who
are planning to keep a rabbit. If you are studying,
tell your teacher about our school
talks. Print out our flyers
and distribute them at pet stores, schools, animal
hospitals, supermarkets, or other places with public
message boards. |
