HRSS Volunteer Orientation Session

HRSS is organising a volunteer orientation session for all our new and existing volunteers on Saturday, 26 February 2005.

If you have never volunteered with us before, this is a great opportunity to learn about what HRSS does and how you can help. If you have been volunteering with us, we still encourage you to attend to get to know the new volunteers and share your ideas on how HRSS can improve the rabbit welfare situation in Singapore.

The session will be lead by the HRSS Management Committee members and the outline is as follows:

2.00 - 2.30: Introductions and warm-up games
2.30 - 3.30: Presentations on successes and challenges faced by HRSS's
various initiatives
- Rabbit rescue
- Fostering and adoptions
- Public and school education initiatives
- Fundraising
- Media and public relations
3.30 - 4.30: Breakouts into smaller groups (by above interest areas) to discuss
how HRSS' programmes can be enhanced and how you as an individual volunteer
can contribute
4.30 - 5.00: Wrap-up and discussion on next steps

Light snacks and drinks will be served during the session. There will also be attractive door gifts for those who come early.
