50 PETS WAIT FOR DESERVING OWNERS

They're animals with a sad past. But with the help of 50 people - possibly you - they might enjoy a cushy future.

You can adopt them, but only if you're a fitting owner.

On July 7, non-profilt animals groups such as Action for Singapore Dogs, Cat Welfare Society and House Rabbit Society of Singapore, will hold a free event at Parkway Parade called Give Me A Home.

The event, from 11am to 7pm, will offer basic tips on pet care, and sign up volunteers.

There will be 20 dogs, 20 cats and 10 rabbits available for adoption, all former strays, picked up and groomed by animal welfare volunteers. - Cara can Miriah
