abandoned animals.

Council, Parkway Parade and pet food company Nutro.
All prospective owners her to interact with the animals
before making a decision.
Potential adopters will first be screened by the relevant
society.
The societies will provide advice on basic health care
and nutrition for the animals. There will also be follow-up
home visits to the adopters' homes.
Experienced dog trainers will also give basic obedience
demonstrations and talks at the event.
