Mr Fuzzles was found roaming along the
roadside in Jurong. When he arrived, he
was severely underweight and badly matted.
He is also very timid probably due to the
trauma of being abandoned and the lack of
human contact. He is also a very fussy eater,
refusing his hay and vegetables.
He is now thriving well in his new environment.
Despite being abandoned, he immediately
knew how to use his litter box without having
to be taught! He enjoys roaming and exploring
around the house. Even though he is still
very weary of people, he enjoys being stroked
on the head and can be picked up. With time
and patience, he will slowly warm up to
you.
P.S. Dr Hsu said that his tearing is probably
caused by his poor diet. As he does not
eat hay, his back molars are pressing against
his tear ducts. I believe that once he starts
eating more hay his condition would improve.
He surprisingly doesn’t like carrots.
I’m trying to get him back on his
vegetables. Also he has shorter and lesser
fur on his face now because Dr Hsu said
it would make grooming easier and reduce
matting around that area and help keep it
dry. Otherwise he can get sores or infection.
