Hi all, after many years (previous bun went heaven).... I am back again...

Got a Netherland Cross bun bun....

Not too sure what he is cross with but the petshop said that he should not be too big. Ard 8 inches when full grown.... (not sure if it is real though)...

Right now he is 7 to 8 weeks old and is ard 4inches i estimated.....

I name him.... BUTTON!

Going to collect him tomorrow!!!

I've bought him a cage (3ft), bottle, bowl, oxbow pellet, timothy hay, platform for the cage....

What else do I need?

Hi Shirley,

I read your prev years posting & realised that we actually know each other thru another forum member 'Bunnyowl'. (Despite we had not met at all).

Remember quite a no. of years back u shared w us on a Malay neighbour in your estate staying at ground floor unit having a white albino female bunny in improper diet resulting in excessive shed fur loss (nutrition imbalance)? Cuz she was fed w white bread but the Malay family does let her roam on the grass and she was free to hop back into cage by herself?

I had attended to this case w Bunnyowl and this case that Bunnyowl kindly followed up lasted for at least 1 year. We upgraded this bunny cage to 3ft w kind donation from BunnyLover + I think also a drink nozzle. On and off I paid visits to this bunny but Bunnyowl was the one caring for her on a daily basis dutifully when she goes for work. However sad ending for this bunny was she eventually died. We were both v sad. Me & Bunnyowl were the ones who witnessed the burial. Bunnyowl was terribly upset and she has moved on to work on sending stray cats to sterilisation more.

I am not sure if you had rec'd this update from Bunnyowl. Hope it's the same case and time flies fast, this departed bunny brought us together in Year 2010 after a lapse of several years.

Welcome back to bunny caring world! Hugzzz....Pattt.....

Wow... I remember now.... It was so long ago that I've forgotten about it.

Am really sorry to hear that the rabbit is no long around.

As my son went on to Primary school, I stopped walking pass that stretch of flats and didn't see the rabbit anymore.

Anyway, I'm back..... Smile

Having a rough time with button now... he started peeing everywhere in his playpen.... now I put him with his litter box back to the cage..... haha a punishment for him.... will only let him out when I am home..... till he learn not to pee everywhere.

Alright, spot on....it's the same case we talking about. I'm the opposite - din forget the cases I once involved in. Waiting for dementia to come so I can let go totally hahaha.....

That bunny had appeared in my dream shortly after she passed away. She is doing good according to the feeling she gives me.

Yeap, for Button, u gotta reinforce discipline training. For young age growing buns, do take them on hold. If not, upon puberty set in, they can be challenging to manage. Start discipline train when young. This is why many matured buns ended up leaving their first owner cuz they can't take them in hand. Young age play too much.... Rolling Eyes
