We received calls from public telling us that there are 2 abandoned bunnies roaming around Big Splash area. Hwee Shin, Hwee Li & Eric went down on Oct 30, (Saturday) and managed to rescue one of them, a bunny girl called SHEBA. On Nov 6, SHEBA gave birth to 6 lovely babies Shocked !! Good news Very Happy ? Bad news Crying or Very sad ? I don’t know, you tell me. d'oh!

On Nov 7, Sunday. Paare & I decided to go down again to look for the remaining bun, thought like informing the daddy bun about the unexpected arrival of his 6 babies on Saturday... to no avail after an hour and a half searching so we decided to have a drink and have a kitkat (Paare reminded me the advertisement of kitkat; the animals you are trying to photo shoot will appear & dancing behind you when you munch the kitkat !! Silly women huh!! Silenced ), while waiting for our drink, we just try our luck to ask around and guess what? The ladyboss took us to her office, and .......... tatatataaaaaaaa... Dancing a black little monster bunny in a cage!!! She just got him on Saturday's midnite. Yoooo... searching high and low for him and he is resting in the cage, naughty boy!!

The laddyboss of an open-aired snack bar has kind enough to offer keeping the young naughty bun. Happy ending, I should say, even we have the unexpected additional 6 babies at Hwee Shin's home, and make up our fostering bunnies figures shoot up to 32 !! Brick wall

I believe they are all GOD-sent precious gifts to test our patience and let's work together more closely to find them a good home. Should you all have friends/relatives looking for pet bunny, please give these little ones a place called home.

We all can play a part in the rescuing & re-homing, and these bunnies need us desperately, they can’t defend themselves, to human, bunnies are just pets, but to bunnies, we are their everything. Open your heart, open your home, (of course, you can open your wallet too Wink ), help them in anyway you can, and I can assure you that what you will get back is far outweigh than what you have put in.

Hi bunnylover,

Yes!! Have a break, have a kitkat. If we didn't decide to have a break, we will still be searching endlessly under the hot sun and asking around anybody we think could possibly have seen the rabbits.

Seamline,

You can write to help@hrss.net to express your interest to adopt a rabbit from us. However, all babies have to be at least 8-10 weeks old to be fully wean off from their mom. So you have to wait for a least 2 months. And if you adopt a bunny that is not mature to be sterilised at the time of adoption, you will have to bring it for sterilisation when the time is up.

Out of 32 bunnies, 15 are babies, and the rest are between 6months to 2 years old.

Woody & Landy = 3.5 months old = under Rose family fostering care
Squeezie, Cutie, Huggie, Chubbie = 2.5 months old = under bunnylover fostering care
Bedok 4 babies = +/- 2 weeks old = under peanuts fostering care
East Coast 5 babies = +/- 1 week old = under hwee shin fostering care

ok, thats great, because im looking for a female rabbit around my rabbit's age. (3 3/4 ~ 4 months)

I hope for the female rabbit to be sterilised though, because my rabbit is not sterilised yet but is going to at the end of the month.

So Im willing to wait, yes i am. Very Happy
